The Secretarial Saga.

On Twitter today, A famous Nigerian pastor in a thread said he gave advice to one of his "son" to fire a secretary because the "son" claimed he was happy to go to work to see her.

If she's fired, what happens when he develops feelings for another person he can't really control his access to? Is the advice also going to be to resign from his job if he isn't in a position of power? Why should somebody else get punished for the inordinate desires from a man?

The advice suggest that the female is at fault for the inordinate desires of the married "son" and should be eliminated. Suggestions such as this are sometimes the norm in most Christian circles where females are blamed for the indiscretions and inordinate affections from men. This men most of the time still have affairs outside of their marriage where they claim they were tempted/seduced by the woman. But I think they forget that you're only tempted by what you desire. James 1:14.

Why aren't the men taught how to control their lusts or desires? How is it married men aren't taught how to kill certain desires towards female that isn't their spouse? Why have we continue to victimise women when in such situations two individuals are involved in the nurturing of such relationships?

A lot of questions, but this are my musings.
